The plant-dyed technique uses natural materials such as onions and olives, allowing you to enjoy the natural texture that can only be achieved through handmade products.

Made with hand-woven Chita Cotton, which features intricate and beautiful folds, is soft, absorbent, and breathable. It is a warm material that is handmade by skilled craftsmen in the Chita region of Aichi Prefecture, while respecting traditional techniques.

■Pigments Extracted from Natural Plants
It is used pigments extracted from natural plants, which have soft colors and a natural texture. Plant dyeing is considered an environmentally friendly method that uses renewable natural resources compared to scientific synthetic dyes.

■Traditional Dyeing Techniques: Arimatsu and Narumi Shibori
They use traditional dyeing techniques that have been handed down in the Arimatsu-cho and Narumi-cho areas of Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. The cloth is sewn, folded, and wrapped with thread to create areas that are not dyed, and patterns are then drawn out.
