The two cups are decorated with an ‘Itogiku tsunagi’ (a string of chrysanthemums) and an ‘asa no ha’ (a hemp leaf) design, respectively.

■Special Attention to Detail with Hand Polishing.
Although it takes time, they use the hand polishing method. Mass-produced products are generally finished using a highly toxic method called acid polishing, but this is not environmentally friendly and dissolves the color of the glass, dulling its shine. Hand polishing ensures an environmentally friendly finish that does not lose its shine.
