Each piece is stone cut and polished by craftsmen.

■Rust-Resistant and Good Sharpness
“Chrome molybdenum steel” is used. The material is a mix of stainless steel that doesn’t rust but doesn’t cut well, and steel that cuts well but rusts, and is characterized by its rust resistance and good sharpness.

■Water Resistant and Corrosion Resistant Handle
The handle is made of laminated plywood that is water resistant and corrosion resistant. A craftsman removes the slight difference between the steel and wood by removing the slight difference in height, resulting in a knife that is less tiring even when used for long periods of time.
